How to Make Money Blogging - 10 Step Solution

Step 1 - Finding a Topic Turn off your computer, grab a pen and paper and sit somewhere you can relax but also stay focused (if you are just starting out this step can be a pain for the reason that we all want to know How to Make Money Online and we want to know how to make it NOW). Think of a topic you are interested in and write it down (this helps because you will be more committed to trying instead of giving up in a day or two) and also make sure it is something other people are interested in too. A couple of ways I use to think of a topic is by using MetaSpy to find out what people are searching for, Ask IQ to find what’s popular and VRE Toolbar to find out how many people search for the topic (this is also useful later on to get traffic). Write down your top five keywords, you will want to use them later in your blog. Step 2 - Create Your Blog Find and create your blog online. I like to use Blogger but other popular Blog platforms are Wordpress and Movable Type. You can find all the help in the program you use to get information when setting up the blog. Create your content, make it original, and make it informative. This is one of the main keys to learn How to Make Money with Blogs. You need to include the keywords you wrote down in Step 1 in the content of your blog. Try not to overuse these as it sends out bad signals to the search engines, and this is 100% not what you want. Step 3 - Go Google Sign up for Google Adsense and insert the code in the margin of your blog. You can customize your ads in many ways, such as including text links or image links. I prefer the text links only, as they are easier to blend in with your blog and don’t take the focus away from the information. Google Adsense will probably not make you a millionaire but it is an instant way of generating a small amount of money. If you want to track where your visitors are coming from with regards to direct hits or from search engine results then I would suggest you use Google Analytics and again you can get all the help you need setting that up from within the program. You will also want to add your URL to Google’s index. Step 4 - Find Something to Sell If you don’t want to sell anything and are happy with the income Google Adsense is bringing in then you can skip this step. If you want to maximize your income and truly learn How to Make Money with Blogs you will want to find an affiliate program to join. A couple of affiliate programs I would suggest are ClickBank and Commission Junction. You can sell anything from office furniture, pet supplies, movies and clothing to PC games, Dieting tips and Audio software. Whatever program you join will give you help inserting the code you will need to insert into your blog, but be sure you do this correctly or you WILL NOT earn money from your visitors. If you do not know how to edit HTML, W3Schools HTML tutorial is a great place to start. Step 5 - Social Bookmarking There is no better advertising than word of mouth, but the next best thing is social bookmarking. You will want to make things easier for people to do this. Social bookmarking sites I use and recommend are OnlyWire and SocialMarker and they are used for people to share their bookmarks or websites that they have liked with other people in their online community. I would not suggest you add your own links to these services, but provide visitors to your website the ability to do so. Step 6 - Write an Article Whether your blog is about a specific product, for example a certain MP3 Player you are promoting, or just about giving people information, I would suggest you to write an article or a review of it. The majority of article directories necessitate articles of 500 words and over so I would use this as a rule when writing to ensure your article is published. Submit your article to any of the 100’s which are out there. I personally use a few of the Top Article directories such as EzineArticles, Article Dashboard, Amazines.com, isnare and SearchWarp. I also use a nifty piece of software called Article Submitter which will submit your articles to over 600 article directories, which saves you lots of time and leaves you to focus on writing your blogs. Step 7 - Ping The Hell Out Of It Every time you add new information to your blog, you want to let the blog directories know about it, this is known as pinging. Some Blog providers automatically send out pings when you update, but to be on the safe side you will want to do this manually too. ONLY PING WHEN YOU UPDATE. There are a couple of Ping sites I use which will send a ping to multiple blog directories at the same time. PingMyBlog would be my first port of call and then if for some reason that site is down I would use Ping-o-matic. Remember, to only ping when you update or you could get blacklisted, and that is bad. Step 8 - Yahoo! Answers and Forums One of the easiest ways to get targeted visitors to your blog is to make use of the people you want to target. I would suggest you sign up to at LEAST one forum in the topic you are writing about, and don’t just go straight in there and start posting comments for people to look at your blog, they won’t. The secret is to put in the link to your blog in your signature and actively become a member of the forum, posting relevant topics and starting debates within them. The more you post, the more your link will show, and if you provide someone with good info the chances are higher they will click your link. Yahoo! Answers is along the same lines as forums but the beauty of this is it’s viewed by thousands of visitors each day. If you don’t already have a Yahoo! account get one and then login and search for questions relating to the topic of your blog and answer them well. You can then insert the link to your blog and as with the forums, if you answer well you may have not only earned yourself a point or two on Yahoo!, but also earned a visitor to your blog. Step 9 - Update Your Blog This can be by more than a few means, one is to add new reviews or content to your blog, and if you are going to do this I suggest updating every couple of days. This helps to keep the search engines happy as they love to see new and original content. One more way of updating your blog and keeping the content fresh is to add RSS feeds to it. Make sure the feeds are relevant to your blog and provide visitors with helpful information. Visitors to a World of Warcraft blog don’t want to read feeds regarding knitting, or do they? Step 10 - More, More, More Repeat steps 1 - 10, this is the only way How to Make Money Blogging. Step 11 - A Bonus Step If you have your own product or information sheet, give your visitors an easy way to sign up to receive updates or information. This helps you to contact the visitor again with more great info or products you wish to sell. Almost all of us wants to Earn Money Blogging. It is actually easy. Tips On Making Money Blogging

If you have an online business, it, in no doubt, pays to do additional work trying to get it out to more people to increase your sales. And what better way to do that now than blogging. Absolutely, blogging is a great way to promote your products or services and to seek out sponsors. Of course, you don’t unavoidably promote what you sell directly through the posts you make. What you’ll want to write about are topics that are informational and relevant to your products or services. This is a proven way to make your blog make money online just by staying home and enjoying the best of family life. With a blog, you can add those pay per click ads which give you a commission for every click made on ads on your blog. There are also affiliate marketing sites which allow you to post ads on your page and earn each time those ads are clicked and when there’s actually a sale. In other words, your blog should be more of an information hub rather than a marketing tool. Then people will want to visit your blog not unavoidably because of what you sell. They read blogs because they like what they read about. Your main focus should be to give your readers good content because it is the one and only thing that makes blog readers want to come back and even subscribe to your posts. This will then give you the kind of traffic you want for your blog to actually start making money. Readers are, of course, what you’re after for the reason that they’re the ones who’ll be appreciating your thoughts, ideas and knowledge. Without your readers, it’s useless to make a blog, unless you intend for it to be your personal journal. In that case, you can’t really expect your blog to be earning. Once you’ve, in one way or another, established a level of quality for your content, you’ll now want to add in the functionalities that will enable you to make money from your posts. Usually, people begin by adding Google AdSense. It’s a very simple process. You simply sign up for an account, provide pre-set specifications and Google will do the job of finding the best ads that will be useful or related to the information you present on your blog. When people visit your page and actually click on any of those ads, you earn a commission. If one person is going to click one ad, you will be paid for that. But that won’t be much which means you have to get as many people as you can to click as many ads on your blog as possible. That’s how you actually make a good amount of money. This also means that traffic is the number one thing you should work on. And again, quality of your content is what drives people to your blog. If you want to learn more about Blogging to make money you can actually search it online. Blogging to make money not only is easy and convenient but it definitely is a fun way of expressing yourself. Three Tips For Blogging For Money

Nearly everyone who spends a good amount of time on the Internet knows how phenomenal blogging has been in terms of income potential. Success doesn’t happen overnight, though, and those who want to give it a shot will usually need a lot of patience and dedication before they can actually start earning income. However, a blog making money is not exactly a secret nor a mystery. This means anyone who’s serious about doing it won’t have such a hard time knowing how. That’s because there’s practically a wealth of resources for aspiring pro-bloggers. To make money with blog posts then, what does it really take? What makes a blog likely to succeed? There are many things you can do and you can actually keep exploring and discovering new techniques. But for starters, you can begin with three very important pointers. First, when you choose a topic, choose one that you’re genuinely interested in and knowledgeable about. It’s important to know what other people might want to read about for the reason that these are the people who will make money out of your blog. But whatever you end up blogging about should be something you are interested in or you’ll never have the enthusiasm nor the drive to write. People can tell if you’re faking and they won’t like it. When you want a blog that makes money, you can’t afford to make readers not like your blog. So you have to make sure that you write about something that you like from within. Otherwise, there’s no way of pretending things are going to work out and you may as well move on to another project. Remember, blogging is a form of self-expression and you can’t possibly express something that’s not from within. Second, it’s also a good idea to diversify your moneymaking strategies in order to make the most of your blog’s income potential. For example, even if you’re directly promoting your products and services on that blog, you can partner with Google Adsense or affiliate sites and have them post their ads on your page. With each click that people make on those ads, you earn a commission. The amount may not be huge at first, but as you build your traffic and as more people click on those ads, you’ll eventually be making incredible amounts like many successful bloggers out there. This is going to need a lot of time, though, as you will have to establish your trustworthiness with readers in the beginning. But eventually, you’ll earn your respect and you’ll start seeing the results as your blog becomes more and more popular and your ads more and more clicked. Of course, when choosing ads to post on your blog, have those that are relevant to the topic you blog about. For example, if you talk about computers, don’t put an ad for a miracle dishwashing detergent. The reason is obvious. Third, know that before unbeaten probloggers started to earn big bucks from their blogs, they were relative unknowns at some points. This means that you’re going to have to be patient and persevering in making your blog rise to the top of search engine rankings and readers’ favorites. You have a lot of competition and beating them is now a challenge that only you can hurdle. You’re also going to need to establish your credibility and none of these is possible until you’ve given yourself a good amount of time. Work to earn people’s respect and trust. Get them to be interested always in what you have to say. Sooner or later, you will have your time and then you’ll start raking in those thousands and maybe even millions of dollars while you sit back, relax and plan out your next post Making your blog make money online is a serious venture and it’s not something you can expect to unfold like a miracle. You need to get down and give it a fair amount of work in order to actually make money blogging and they you’ll realize that it wasn’t all hype.

Structuring Your Ads – Money Blogs

A lot of things have been written about how to create the perfect blog that makes the most money. Everybody knows that content is king and that for the content to actually make money, you have to put ads on your page where people can click and possibly make a purchase. Any guru’s guide on how to start a blog will always make mention of one of the most popular ad-generating programs for your blog - Google Adsense. While this works by having people click on ads and earning you an amount for each click, it doesn’t mean that their mere presence in your blog will actually have people clicking on them. When talking about these ads, most usually forget about a basic element that may make or break their chances of being clicked. What you need is a good way to structure those ads on your page so they tend to be more attractive to readers. For instance, Goodgle Adsense is a good program to have on your blog. You simply make options that indicate what type of products you want advertised and the program will look for such ads and paste them on your page. The issue is, putting those ads on any portion of your page doesn’t necessarily bring the same results. Putting those ads at the top of your post will probably not be good for your blog because people might feel discouraged by the fact that all they see initially are ads. A better place for them would probably be the bottom of your page where readers will eventually get to if they’re serious enough about reading your posts. If they find anything interesting, they’ll more likely click on it because they’ve had the satisfaction of reading a good post. Clicking on that ad won’t be a chore. The way your ads look will also have a way of influencing whether or not your readers are going to click on them, much less stay on your page long enough to read your posts. When you decide to have those ads on your page, you actually also have the option to choose which font colors to use. This is very significant because a loud color combination can be very stressing to the eyes and whether or not readers are aware of it, they’re likely to respond the same way – click out. Make sure that when visitors come to read your blog, it will be an initially delightful experience. Don’t make them have to criticize a page that is poor in color coordination. Whether you like it or not, visual appeal accounts for a significant portion of why people will stay, read your blog and click on your ads. Having a blog make money is not an easy task but it not gargantuan, either. This means that whatever formula worked for the successful ones, they won’t be too hard to figure out as long as you know what what you’re doing. Then how to make money blogging will start to come naturally.

2. Sell ad spaces.  If your blog has built a high page rank for itself and if it is consistently making many guests, you can keep advertisement spaces – or virtual investments as John Reese would put it – on your online sites and sell these to entrepreneurs who want substantial visibility for their products or services.  Accept it or not, there are numerous fascinated advertisers are forever vigilant for justly valued ad spaces in blogs with PR status for 3 and up.

3. Offer link publications.  You can offer distributing somebody else’s link on your blog accounts, for a fee certainly.  This will help him improve his link popularity, particularly if your blog orders a top page rank and if your blog attracts numerous guests.  Perform this for a declared charge as well.

4. Join link programs.  Given that you will acquire lots of openings to advocate and pre-sell products with the freedom you’re given in composing your blog accounts, you can register in some associated affiliate courses so that you can promote their products.  Whenever you can submit a profitable sale, you will get a stated payment.  If you’re experiencing difficulties finding proper affiliate courses, you can as an alternative join unified affiliate systems similar to www.clickbank.com, www.cj.com and www.linkshare.com.

5. Spin your blog.  From time to time, you’ll gain more by selling your blog.  If it has won for itself steady traffic and a considerable following along with a considerably high page rank, you can sell it for a large amount in specialty forums like www.digitalpoint.com and www.sitepoint.com.  This is called website flipping, and it is truly a very lucrative internet enterprise today.
